‘A physician can add years to your life but physiotherapy adds life to your years.’ The name Dr. Ali Irani is synonymous with Physiotherapy in India with decades of academic and clinical experience. Dr. Ali Irani is also a celebrity physiotherapist and works with the Who’s Who of Bollywood & Reality Shows. He is currently the Head of Department for Physiotherapy and Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation Centre at Nanavati Super Speciality Hospital, Mumbai. He is also the International Affairs Chairperson for the Indian Association of Physiotherapists as well as the Principal of NMIMS University.

Dr. Ali Irani has also been a speaker at various national and international conferences on physiotherapy and wellness. He has also conducted workshops on innovative physiotherapy and sports medicine at various physiotherapy and medical colleges. Further, he is also a recipient of the prestigious “HITRA ORATION” Award in 1994 for achievements made in the field of Physiotherapy. He also received the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Indian Association of Physiotherapy in 2004, fellowship by IAP & Indian Association of Sports Medicine (IASM).
